The only reason I did not give it five stars is that, on occasion, releasing the lock from the seatbelt base can be a little tricky. Easy for me to placThe build quality feels strong and reliable, and once it’s fitted, the steering wheel is immobilised. It takes only a few seconds to put on, and the bright strap colours make it very visible from outside the car, which is a great deterrent. It’s about the thickness of a bike lock so if someone really wants your car and comes prepared they could get through it. But these types of deterrents are meant to deter opportunists who want a quick quiet getaway so I rate it and would buy again.e & lock, then remove later.

This looks good and works well. With that said, it would probably help deter the possible joy rider. I don’t see it stopping the professional thief, maybe slow them down a minute or so to give me that extra minute to get to them…you know, with my major theft deterrent items.
As the old saying goes, locks only keep the honest people out!
I would buy again to go with the other theft deterrent products I have (Club, steering wheel lock, steering wheel to brake lock, and cameras and others) a long with the hidden cutouts switches.

What a great deterrence! Fits perfectly around the steering wheel then latching to the seat belt buckle. Once secured, I tried taking it out of the buckle, yanking and tugging- no way it's coming out. As far as the cable goes, it covered with heavy duty thick plastic coating, protecting aircraft style multi-strand cable. This with your flashing car alarm or your car's anti-theft system, will deter crooks, especially when they peek into you car window and see this (I opted for red), move on to an easier target. Afterall, don't make it easy for them! Even if they capture your key code, this will be a pain to remove. The device stores easily under the seat, or pockets behind your seats. I highly recommend!! The wife is getting one!

I bought this steering lock and I must say that it is very well made. Sturdy and equipped with 3 keys so you have one for each set of keys and a spare. Practical to attach to the driver's seat belt. The cable is really sturdy and you can feel it just by its weight. It is not as bulky as the usual steering wheel locks are and can even be stored under the seat so you don't have it in the way. I recommend it for its flexibility and practicality.

I bought one of these locks when I bought my new VW Golf to replace the "Stoplock" I had for my previous Golf as it damaged the leather on the steering wheel.
